CPIM submits a memorandum to the state election commissioner

 Erstwhile left front government of Tripura submits a memorandum to the state election commissioner to revise the schedule of the three-tier Panchayat by-election.

Addressing a press conference today at 1.00 pm at CPIM state party office , CPIM spokes person Gautam Das said “We meet with state election commissioner and submit a memorandum to revise the schedule of the three-tier Panchayat by-election and provide proper security to all intending candidates and take appropriate measure for restoring of an atmosphere conductive to conduct of free fair peaceful election’’.

Over 3000 seats in gram panchayats, panchayats samiti and zilla parishads, which were fell vacant due to resignation of elected public representatives after the saffron party take oath on March 09, would undergo bye-elections on September 30.
