Meeting on PRI-CBO convergence project held at Secretariat

Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma on Tuesday headed a meeting on PRI-CBO convergence project at Secretariat. The meeting aimed at Local development through the PRI-CBO convergence project. It is to be mentioned ere that the meeting held discussion on Flagship programs of Government of India.

The meeting further emphasized on Mision Antodaya, which aims at powers of convergence of schemes in transforming rural areas. Mission Antyodaya is a convergence framework for measurable effective outcomes on parameters that transform lives and livelihoods. 17 Sustainable development goals to end poverty fight inequality and injustice and tackle climate change by 2030 and other issues were also the part of the meeting.

The PRI-CBO convergence project has been implemented in nine states across India including states like Assam, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Tripura. Manipur is the latest addition to the states where PRI-CBO convergence project has established its presence.
